Outbrief of Colorado Conference 2009:
members who attended the first ever RSKKR Conference were not
disappointed. The Colorado mountains were magnificent, the air was
thin, but the friendships forged will last a lifetime. Much was taught
and learned. Unique from most seminars and conferences was the theme of
Share Fest. Sensei Nix welcomed other views and perspectives.
Differences in Kata were recorded and Seidokan principles were defined
Seminar Subjects: Kata and Bunkai, Kobudo, Yakusoku Kumite - Okinawan Principles, Advanced Self Defense, Knife Defense
Others accomplishments: Regional Directors were selected to divide the USA into smaller areas; Technical Advisers were selected to review new material, reinforce Okinawan principles, and develop training products for each region; Constitution and Bylaws was edited during Town Hall meetings and voted upon unanimously by all dojo personnel attending. The entire body signed the last page of the document.
